Allu Arjun, Pushpa 2 Makers Will Give 2 crore aid to Victim of Stampede Case

Superstar Allu Arjun, along with the makers of Pushpa 2, has announced a compensation of Rs 2 crore to support the family of a child who was critically injured during a tragic stampede at a screening of the film in Hyderabad. The unfortunate incident took place at Sandhya Theatre on December 4, when Allu Arjun arrived for the movie’s premiere.

The stampede resulted in the death of the child’s mother, 36-year-old Revathi, leaving the family devastated. The compensation aims to provide financial relief and support to the grieving family during this difficult time.

As part of the compensation, Allu Arjun contributed Rs 1 crore, while Mythri Movies and the film’s director, Sukumar, added Rs 50 lakh each. The financial aid will be handed over to the family by Dil Raju, a prominent film producer and the chairperson of the Telangana Film Development Corporation. The announcement regarding this assistance was made by Allu Arjun’s father, Allu Aravind, during his visit to KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad, where the injured child, nine-year-old Sri Tej, is receiving treatment.

Addressing the situation, Allu Aravind explained that certain legal constraints prevented him from interacting directly with the family. Hence, he requested Dil Raju to oversee the transfer of the compensation funds to ensure a smooth process. Aravind also shared positive updates about Sri Tej’s recovery, stating that the child had been removed from the ventilator two days earlier and was now breathing independently.

Doctors attending to Sri Tej have expressed optimism about his condition, highlighting his steady progress and quick recovery. Aravind further assured that the entire team involved in the film is committed to supporting the child and his family through this challenging period. Their gesture reflects a heartfelt attempt to help the victims cope with the tragedy while ensuring the child’s well-being and future security.
